Arriving crews found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames under the overpass. Crews confirmed the sole occupant of the vehicle deceased.

Investigators from the Pinellas Park Police Department believe that 60 year-old Michael Hester of St. Petersburg was the driver of the Ford 150.  It is believed that he was traveling on the US-19 Frontage Road at a high rate of speed when he struck one of the support pillars under US-19.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
