Fayad goes on to say “As a paramedic he is flawless , when it comes to compassion, I have not seen a young paramedic come through our organization in a long time that holds such a sincere and caring demeanor when speaking with and treating patients and their family”.

In his nomination letter for the award Lt. Fayad also stated that Dustin personifies the vision statement of Seminole Fire Rescue’s by “setting the standard for excellence, not by what we say, but in everything we do”.

FireMedic Klein credits his recognition and success to his wife Elisa who is also in the medical field at Florida Hospital in Tampa and understands the stresses associated with the career and supports him at home.
